Patinised metal ferrules (such as bronze ferrules) can be cleaned with normal metal polishing agents.
In case of metal coated plastic ferrules (Condor series), we do not recommend washing in a dishwasher, since the aggressive washing detergents and the high water temperature involved may cause the coating to become loose from the ferrule.
Wooden cutting boards and knife stands are treated in the factory with peanut oil or white oil. Wash the cutting board by hand after use. Moisten the whole board to avoid distortion of the board. Oil the products regularly with oils intended for use with food products to make sure that the features of the product are maintained. Do not wash wooden products in a dishwasher.
